One of the worst things Silicon Valley ever did was making me feel embarrassed to say that I'm a Christian.

There was a time when admitting that could cost you a job—like faith and reason couldn’t coexist. 

But I’m not embarrassed anymore. Imagine being a computer scientist, holding a doctorate in theology, and also being a pastor. Talk about not fitting their mold. But here’s the truth—faith doesn’t make you less capable; it gives everything you do a deeper purpose. 

I have realized that the narrow worldview of Silicon Valley doesn’t define me, and it never will.
